Get Your GreenScreen® For Safer Chemicals Score — It's as Easy as 1-2-3...

The GreenScreen® Inspector™ is an online tool created by ToxServices that allows users to confirm a GreenScreen® Benchmark Score. Users simply enter hazard scores they have assigned for each hazard endpoint, and the GreenScreen® Inspector™ will calculate the benchmark score based on the GreenScreen® Benchmarking Scheme's combination of hazard endpoints.

  1. Prepare a GreenScreen® following version 1.2 criteria.
  2. In the form below, enter chemical name, applicable CAS #, and specify hazard scores (for example: vL, L, M, H, vH, or DG, as applicable) for each of the 18 hazard endpoints.
  3. The GreenScreen® Inspector™ determines whether you have correctly followed the GreenScreen® benchmark scoring paradigm.

Step 1. Specify Hazard Scores

S indicates single exposure, R* or * indicates repeated exposure. Hazard levels in ITALICS reflect low confidence. Hazard levels in BOLD reflect values based on high confidence (See Guidance)

Step 2. View Your Hazard Benchmark Summary (See full Benchmarking Rules)

2: Use—but Search for Safer Substitute
3: Use—but Opportunity for Improvement
4: Prefer—Safer Chemical

No: Chemical is not captured by the hazard combinations addressed by this sub-benchmark. If all outputs for sub-benchmarks in a benchmark level are "No", the benchmarking process progresses to the next benchmark level.

Yes: Chemical is captured by the hazard combinations addressed by this sub-benchmark. If any output for a sub-benchmark in a benchmark level is "Yes", the benchmarking process does not progress to the next benchmark level.

GreenScreen® Inspector™ is an automated tool that calculates a GreenScreen® Version 1.2 Benchmark Score with User Input Hazard Benchmark Values. The results of this tool
are not official GreenScreen® Version 1.2 Benchmark Scores and should not be used in association with any chemical until the results have been verified by ToxServices through a full GreenScreen®
Version 1.2 Assessment. As a result, the GreenScreen® Version 1.2 Benchmark Score calculated by the User may not match the GreenScreen® Version 1.2 Benchmark Score calculated by ToxServices.
